Feedmyinbox is an application designed to deliver RSS feeds to a user’s email inbox. Many websites that offer feeds don’t support an email option, meaning that users must check a dedicated RSS reader to see if updates have been made. With feedmyinbox, users receive one email per day or real-time email notification of updates on the sites they wish to follow.

Webmasters may generate a signup form from feedmyinbox to embed in the html of their websites for feed subscribers.

Feedmyinbox is a creation of Brightwurks, a small company located in Franklin, Tennessee. The idea was born when one of the founders wanted to create a way for his Mom to receive RSS email updates so she could see his Twitter account.

The simplicity of feedmyinbox makes it unique. It’s incredibly easy to signup and is ready to use in less than two minutes. Users can choose whether they wish to receive daily or real-time updates for subscribed sites. The Bookmarklet feature is a superior shortcut for easy page addition.

To add a feed, simply type the URL in the Add a Feed box and click submit. If a user has web feeds from other feed readers, OPML files may be imported as well so that users do not need to resubscribe.

The Bookmarklet feature is a link that may be added to the toolbar so that a site may be added to the feed without ever leaving the webpage being viewed. The link may be dragged and dropped to the toolbar and, when clicked, will add the current webpage to the user’s feed.

Registration requires a first and last name, email address, and password. No email confirmation is necessary. Immediately after signup, users are directed to a page for adding feeds.

There are four plans to choose from. The free plan offers daily updates for up to five feeds. Paid plans range from 25-unlimited feeds and costs range from $5/month to $16/month. Paid plans also offer real-time updates, the choice of html or text formatting, title-only notifications, and email send time customization.

Anyone who follows blogs or websites and wants notification of new posts or content can benefit from feedmyinbox. The interface is streamlined and extremely easy to use.
